If you have just moved into a new home or you feel that your current house is not as secure as it might be, get in touch with me.
Survey and proposal
I will perform a security survey of your property, and present a proposal to suit your budget, given to you free of charge, with no obligation.
Door and gate locks
Effective home security is vital, and my customers in Dublin, Meath and Louth usually think about locks on their front and back doors as the first and most important consideration for home security. That is correct as top quality locks on doors are vital to ensure security. But remember also that garden gates, if locked, will prevent burglars from even getting onto your property.
Discourage burglars from targeting your home
Burglars like to work under cover, so low hedges and fences will allow your neighbours to see if anyone suspicious is at your door or windows. Motion activated lights help to make potential burglars think again about targeting your home.
Don’t forget windows
Windows are popular entry points for burglars, who often expect doors to be locked, and so they will look for windows as an easy access point. I can install window locks and you should make sure that your curtains and blinds are drawn to stop people seeing inside your house.
Keep lights on when you are out to give the impression that someone is at home. I can install automatic timers to switch lights on at dusk and off at dawn. These are useful if you are away for more than one night.
Consider your garage
Garage doors are often left open, and burglars can get in to steal vehicles, tools, fishing equipment and anything else you have stored there. Sometimes there is a door to the house from the garage, so if you leave your garage door unlocked, you are inviting crime.
The shed in your garden will often contain valuable items like electric lawnmowers and tools, so you should get me to fit a good lock and cover the windows from the inside to stop burglars seeing what you are storing there.
